PAYMENT OPTIONS

We welcome Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover ,Online Interac , PayPal and all major international credit cards.

  • Please note the billing address submitted with your gift order must be associated with the billing details of your credit card.
  • For your protection our office performs certain verifications with our credit card processor. It is at the discretion of our office to cancel any order we feel is suspicious

SALES TAXES

Kindly note all transactions at The Sweet Basket Company are in Canadian currency. Currency exchange will be carried out by your financial institution once the transaction charge is processed. Sales tax vary by destination and country.

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

  • If you wish to cancel your gift order, you may do so via email at customerservice@thesweetbasket.com or by phone at 1.866.683.3885within 6 hours of placing your order to avoid any cancellation fees.
  • Orders which are not cancelled within 6 hours are subject to a non-refundable handling fee equivalent to 20% of the order.
  • Orders, which have left our facility with our carrier or are en route with our driver cannot be cancelled due to health and safety reasons. Due to the perishable nature of our gifts, returns are not permitted by federal and provincial food regulations.
  • Cancellation of monthly club memberships are subject to cancellation fees in the amount of 20% based on the remaining months.
  • The Sweet Basket Company reserves the right to cancel any order that may appear suspicious or fraudulent.

RETURNS DUE TO AN INCORRECT DELIVERY ADDRESS

  • Please ensure that the delivery information for your gift recipient is accurate and complete. Be sure to include unit numbers, apartment numbers, company names (if applicable), buzzer codes for apartment units, etc.
  • Incorrect or incomplete information may delay the delivery of a gift order and may incur additional charges. If additional charges are incurred to successfully deliver an order, the purchaser will be charged for these additional fees.
  • If a parcel is returned to our facility due to an incomplete or incorrect delivery address, the purchaser will be contacted and given the option to reship the parcel to an alternate delivery address or cancel the gift order. Please note that return shipping fees will be applied by our carrier to return the parcel to our facility.
  • If the purchaser wishes to cancel the order, return shipping fees and a restocking fee equivalent to 30% of the order will apply.
  • Please note our complete satisfaction guarantee is not applicable to orders for which we have been provided incorrect or inaccurate information.

RETURNS DUE TO DAMAGES

All orders are inspected by Quality Control prior to shipping from our facility. If your parcel appears damaged, opened or tampered with, please contact us within 3 days of receipt so we may file a claim with our carrier and issue a replacement or refund.

LATE, LOST OR DAMAGED

  • All orders for delivery within Canada are shipped from our facility in Montreal, Quebec. Please keep in mind when submitted your orders that the outlined transit times are only estimates and may vary depending on the destinations. Please refer to our Delivery & Shipping times for more details.
  • All orders destined for the USA are processed by our affiliate in California. Please note when submitting your orders that the outlined transit times are only estimates and may very depending on the destinations.
  • The Sweet Basket Company will not be held liable for delivery delays that occur as a result of poor weather conditions or parcel volume with our shipping carriers. Refunds are not available if circumstances are beyond our control.

PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS

The Sweet Basket Company strives to offer fine gift baskets as shown on our website. Unfortunately, at times it becomes necessary to make certain substitutions when products become unavailable from our distributors or are discontinued. We assure you that the value and presentation of your gift basket will not be compromised in any way.

REFUND POLICY

You may expect your refund within 4-6 business days from the date of cancellation or return. Refunds are issued to the original method of payment unless you wish to have an internal credit. Once your refund is processed, you will receive a copy of the transaction details via email.

LIMITATIONS ON USE

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website. You may browse this site , use its applications all for personal use only. You may not remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices from materials you download. Nor may you distribute , modify, transmit, reuse any material from our website for public or commercial use. Any use contrary to these limitations is a violation of the intellectual property rights of The Sweet Basket Company . Unless otherwise indicated, all material on this website is copyrighted and is a serious offence punishable by civil and criminal penalties.

The Sweet Basket Company has the right to disable your account at any time if you are found to be in violation of these terms. While we take every precautionary measure to protect the information you provide us with, The Sweet Basket Company does not ensure or warrant the security of any transmission.

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

In the event a product is listed with an incorrect price due to a typographical error, the Sweet Basket Company has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for gifts listed at the incorrect price. We have the right to refuse or cancel orders which have been confirmed and charged. If you credit card has been charged and your order is cancelled, we will reimburse your credit card promptly.

You do not have any license or permission to use any Trademark or image displayed on our website without written permission by The Sweet Basket Company.

The Sweet Basket Company will not be liable for any damages or injury including any direct or indirect, incidental or punitive damages or losses that may result or arise from the use of the website or any materials on this website including but not limited to the failure of performance, error , omission, interruption, defect or computer virus , or the deletion or failure to restore unavailability of information, products or services.
